The difference between Botox and Dysport

Botox and Dysport are both popular injectable treatments used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. While they are similar in many ways, there are a few key differences. Botox, also known as onabotulinumtoxinA, is the more well-known brand and has been used for cosmetic purposes for a longer time. Dysport, on the other hand, is derived from the same toxin as Botox but has a slightly different formulation. The main difference between the two lies in their potency and diffusion. Dysport tends to diffuse more, allowing for a wider area of coverage, while Botox is generally more targeted and precise. The choice between the two ultimately depends on the individual's goals and the recommendations of their healthcare provider.
